      The Funk Flex remix alone makes this one essential, IMO, if you can find it. The Puff Daddy mix is ok.... a different (superior) version of the Puffy remix exists, with a different beat, but the one that appears on this 12" is not it.

          ayyeeee!!! finally got my hands on this. the studio ton radio remix is PURE FIRE. the funk master flex mix has some flame to it as well, but sadly I am not impressed with the puff radio remix... maybe it just didn't age well, but I love the bangers. Studio Ton definitely gave this song a banging remix.

            Have the same series, but no Wino. A1 = LP version and
            A2 = LP Instrumental, B side is identic.

              I got this item directly from Def Jam in 1996 while on their mailing list. These mixes do not appear on any of the retail copies for "This Is How We Do It" that I've ever seen, and it's a shame because they're easily the best versions of the song. The tracks do, however, appear on some retail copies of "Somethin' 4 Da Honeyz," where they are actually the b-side. This promo was released prior to the "Somethin' 4 Da Honeyz" single/promo. The Studio Ton mix, as you can imagine, has a very West Coast-Bay Area feel to it. The FMF version starts out with the Children's Story remix beat, and then slips into an early 90's Brand Nubian vibe. I know a lot of DJs and none have this, so dig deep and find one.
