Much more expansive sound than cd, with a rich pronounced bass. Picking up a small degree of sibilance on Roscoe.
Whereas some of the harmonies sound muddled on Head Home, the sound on the track Van Occupanther is exceptional.

Played on a Rega P10, Aphelion 2, Rega Aura, Naim 282 & NAP300 DR, PMC12s.

Happy customer here. Tiny bit of crackle on first play, but a good wash sorted that out.
This is a wonderful album from start to finish, and I can’t grumble about the SQ.

Certainly too noisy, and the noise can be intrusive on some tracks. Hopefully a couple thorough cleanings will do the job.
Other than that, it's flawless.

Not a fan of the alternative artwork painting cover although I had to buy this version to complement my 2010 one as the album is so perfect and I was happy to have 2 copies. In my opinion, they never really hit these heights before or afterwards but this album just clicked for me.

When looking at the files, it appears that track 12 is not included. The download file from Bella Union numbers The Fairest Way and Festival as tracks 13 and 14. There is no track 12. Has anyone else noticed this?

My copy had small amounts of surface noise on the Track 1, Side A, but the rest is hunky dory- quiet and flat. So good to hear this gorgeous LP on vinyl!!!

My copy has some pops, at least three, and has significant surface noise at the beginning of Side B. Better get a black wax of it.
