I've often wondered about John Zorn. Is he a talentless squeaky jazzer and noisemaker, or am I just missing the point? I find that John Zorn's name on a cover virtually guarantees that I'll dislike it. So, what about this collection of 38 tracks in 69 minutes? Well, we have eight tracks of squeaking, crashing, and jumbled up records (courtesy of Christian Marclay); six tracks of chaotic jazz with more squeaks; seven live tracks (more of the same); and... ouch, my ears!
