Wow for the price ($15-$20) this is a Great version, I just listened and compared this to Idle Moments (Blue Note 2021) and Grant Green Nigeria (waxtime 2015). The waxtime Nigeria was not in the same league as it's sound was rather flat and treble leaning compared to the Blue Note releases. I was very surprised that this Solid was very close to the Idle Moments release and I would same almost even on sound stage and quality of the instruments. So I would highly recommend this version it is at least as good as any Classic Series Blue Note I have.
As far as packaging the jacket material seems a little thin but not fragile, the printing and color is nicely done, My version came olive green and not brown like it is pictured on discogs. The green color is nicer and matches the original Japan releases with Shinji Aizawa illustration of Grant Green, Shinji Aizawa did a few different Grant Green album covers for Japan and I like them very much. I also replaced the basic inner sleave with a Anti-Static Rice Paper Vinyl Record Inner since I plan to have this great album for many years!

can anyone ... with green sugar tunes on top ??- Ok so I hate the Music Matters business model…but having said that, this records sounds simply stunning. Every note is a delight.
Perfect pressing and just superb presentation of the music. - Outstanding sound on this album, Green's best IMHO. Perfect pressing. So glad to have grabbed it. Harley said it will be a BN Classic someday, but at this point who knows when? Plus the jacket here is great. This is a real Blue Note highlight for me, among the top 5 on the label.
- This repress already sounds so great on regular black vinyl. No need to get desperate to grap an SRX. Thank you, MMJ for the surprising represses. Please give us more of them!
- As you would expect any music matters pressing to be, this is incredible. Wish I could compare to the SRX.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the mastering and pressing?- I now own three SRX records and they all sound amazing. The richness and tonality are unreal and the noise floor is better than anything else I've listened to.
- These SRX pressings from MMJ elevate their usual superb product into the sublime category. I was sceptical MMJ could get better, but they have. Well worth the extra $ you have to fork out.
