referencing Lenny Valentino (CD, Single) HUTCD 36
Referencing The Auteurs - Lenny Valentino: Track 1 sounds identical to the album version of "Lenny Valentino" IMHO, although some Youtube videos have it as "single mix" or "single version".
Track 4 is an alternative take of the title track, which sounds a bit 'rougher around the edges' to my ears. There are one or two slightly different lines in terms or lyrics and a superb rhythmic cello/guitar intro from James Banbury & Luke Haines that sets up the riff beautifully before the bass and drums kick in.
Track 2 is slyly humorous, Track 3 edges towards the bleaker imagery conjured up by the band's next album, "After Murder Park".
