Used longtime as demo record, this album is stunning, the sound take you in the church with feeling and emotion, if you see an affordable copy, buy it.- Great sounding LP but the pressing is a little bit noisy in my case. Pops and clicks throughout. Overall a pleasant listening experience due to the amazing recording and mastering. Artistic wise, a weird combination of saxophone and organ which sounds cheesy in most cases. Not my cup of tea.
- Wow ! I was impressed with this record, a great job
It must be said that the record starts from an exceptional mastering, one of the best and most natural recordings ever made
The ambience is incredible and the timbre of the instruments is recorded at the highest level
I recommend this record without reservations, it is an excellent substitute for the original versions, perhaps maybe a little more transparent in sound but often in poor condition and offered at very expensive prices
A must-have record - Very unusual but captivating music, perfect to drift away with or relax to.
Atmosphere is first rate with the sound painting a clear image of the venue and space and the sax beautifully crisp and clear.
The dynamics are superb, with some sections being very subtle and quiet and others extending the lows of the organ and highs of the sax.
Vinyl is generally very quiet, with very black backgrounds and just a few pops and ticks that a further clean may get rid of.
Sleeve notes are interesting and informative.
