The mix on this version of "Get A Move On" is more balanced and way better than the one found on the album.

I was obsessed with this when it came out - downloaded from Napster (!) and played on repeat!
I bought the album and played this out many times.
At a party last night it went down brilliantly - we’re in 2022 FFS!
        Stone cold classic 👏✊

What an astounding record by this quirky Mancunian genius. It's a piece of dancefloor genius that would rock any floor and yet it is also one of the most original timeless pieces of dance music from the last 5 years (if not the last decade!). Nothing else sounds like it. To utilise his great love of jazz and incorporate that into an awesome piece of chunky future funk that has a tremendous baseline and grooves the socks off most things that pass for dancing music today, is just marvellous. A tune and then some, that will always raise a smile and get that ass shaking, keeping it unreal!

Everyone should own this record. Mr Scruff is a genius, and you can't really disagree with records like this. "Get A Move On" is fantastically funky, a breaks 'n' jazz 'n' blues masterpiece that you never get bored of. And the b-side (Ug) is brilliant too, with its machinery chugs and hisses, with the mighty bass replacing the beats. Its a bit strange, but then the best records always are.
