Même si le pressage a été effectué aux USA, le son est identique au disque français; c'est à dire un disque issu du CD.
A la rigueur de "Back To Black" de 2008 a une meilleure dynamique, mais rien ne vaudra le pressage de 1965.

Does a Canadian Stereo version on the red Phillips label exist? Or was this Mono only?

Oh god, the dreaded black to black series, this is truly an insult to France Gall.
The source for this record comes directly from a CD.
Even vinyl with a digital source can sound decent if it is mastered properly.
This record was not, it's sounds completely flat, even for something recorded in the 60's.
The warmth of the recording is lost.
The groove is cut too shallow, even for a mono record.
At 15 minutes a side, the least they could have done was cut it at 45 RPM, but they have failed to do even that.
At the end of the day this sounds almost exactly like a CD, maybe a tad softer.
Now, for the real question, should you buy this? If this costs more then the CD, I'd say no.
If you want a real copy of this album, get the 2008 Polydor release, or a 1965 original if you have the money.
But for the love of god Universal, respect the musicians who worked on this and actually release a proper record.
And make it from the original master tapes dammit!

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 70 326 and P 70.326 L version? Both discs look identical to me. They both have P 70.326 L written on the blue label. Thanks.
