This is one of my favourite albums. Maybe a forgotten classic. I only ever owned the CD from when it came out, which wasn’t actually that bad. I really like the album so decided on seeing if LP was better. It is, by miles. Much more depth, the guitars stand out and sound awesome. The LP’s are really quiet and flat. Until this gets rereleased, this version is definitely worth looking for.referencing C'Mon Kids (CD, Album, Reissue, CD, Compilation, All Media, Remastered, Expanded Edition) CDBRED 468
This is a fine roundup of the album and the three two-part CD singles from the album, but it misses out the songs from the bonus 7" on the original double vinyl, as well as the Midfield General remix of "C'Mon Kids" that was on a Creation tape. There was enough space for these, and that kind of rarity might have enticed diehard fans like me.- Finally got my hands on this. What a great album, one of the best from the 1990s. A treasure trove of fuzzy guitars, attitude, storming melodies and beautiful sounds. The SQ is stellar, one of the best sounding in my collection.
- Edited 5 years agoThis is the album that forced Radiohead back into the studio. OK Computer was the result and you have this lp to thank. Brilliantly inventive album with grooves galore! Just try and stay seated while this one spins. A bottom end to die for with an open and spacious soundstage. What’s in the box! C’mon. It’s so good. The strutting bass line, theremin, funky verse and megaphone vocals make melodies for the deaf track of the year? Highest recommendation here.

Flying in the Bullfrog Green Skies
The title song "C'mon Kids" comes like a hurricane full of the guitars being raped and choking on their primal screams. Further on the album becomes more melodious and however eclectic the music is it is eclectic in the best sense of the word. Typically most tunes are broken in the middle of their purest harmonies and the rhythmic pattern is drastically changed turning into monstrously huge sound. "The sky was bullfrog green, man, you would have been amazed, the rain beat up the fields, my mind turned from less fortunate days". For me C'mon Kids is the one of the best psychedelic albums of all times boldly advancing to the new territory of neo-psychedelia.
