I will have to totally agree with others here and rate this 5*+ material, its everything that I want from a D&B music compilation! Its melodic, atmospheric, bouncy, deep, bright, wonderful, weird and varying tones beauty is just never enough, by the end of the 20 amazingly blended tracks on this CD the only button I want to press is Replay. Go back to start, back to the day this compilation was recorded and press Play once again on those CDJ1000s. Then the story starts again, and guess what... it sounds just as beautiful as the time before!

Day passes rather quickly this way, and I'm okay with that. :)

One of the best drum&bass CD mixes I've ever heard. Selection is precise and mixin' is flawless. Must have for every dnb lover.

Please don’t hate me, but I’m still on a d’n'b kick… Every year London’s Fabric label puts out some of the most thought out compilations. I have officially become a fan, because I own every single volume. For FabricLive series, volume 44, the label invited George Levings and Guy Brewer, collectively known as Commix, to rip us a new one. Interestingly enough, the mix was recorded on the same day that Barack Obama became the President of the United States. On this mix, Commix starts off smooth, riding into nu-school, and finishing off with some classics, like Photek. Commix contributes four tracks of their own to the mix, picking out the anthems from Rufige Crew, Logistics, Calibre, Jonny L, and Instra:mental. And let’s face it, the cover art is pretty damn awesome. Be sure to also check out a mixed compilation by Omar S – Fabric 45: Omar S – Detroit.

Fabriclive 44 by Commix, or how to put d'n'b borders over and over. Keep it cool and steady with a breaked start, make everybody move with a liquid/nu school middle, and finish the all mix with some oldies backed with new tracks, for a general shape wich stick deep into your mind.

Some tracks of this live, like Data's Causeway, Logistics' Murderation or their own Justified are, of course, some future anthems, if their're not some kind of new painted and coloured walls in the old and cold streets of d'n'b.

Much respect for all the work on this mix and also for the duo. You'd make my ears more opened than ever...
