Both cds are amaaaaaaaziiiiiing! the songs and the way he mixed is perfect. I have to mention that is different from the style of music he produced, still its a beautiful cd mix. I would say more like a tribute to house music in general, a lot of genres of house music on it IMO, well picked songs that overall sound very good together.
      Big thanks Paolo !
      I'm smiling !!!!!!!!!!

There are better mixes in the Balance series, but if you want a taste of progressive house with the emphasis on "house" then this is not a bad choice.

Mix one is crunchy, airy, life-affirming tech - house. Tracks that go down smoothly well if you're partying or doing silly things on your own and are in need of a good soundtrack to go with it. While some other Balance mixes might take time to get into, being more introverted or experimental in nature, this one has energy and a 100% purpose, with its easy-going build up. Both mixes delve deeper, too, taking a darker turn roughly mid-way through, but, on the whole, the overall impression is optimistic and energetic.
On a warm, sunny, spring day, with this mix on, the world could be your playground.

Another blinding release from Australia's version of Renaissance, following in the footsteps of Desyn Masiello's 008 mix which was widely hailed as the mix CD of 2005. In my opinion this is even better, with a real 3D feel to it whereas personally I found Desyn's mix a little I don't know, flat maybe??? Certainly after listening to this it pales somehat. Any way this release combines old and new, a whole spectrum of musical genres, melody and noise, all to brilliant effect. Read the great liner notes for a full description of the tracks and mixing, but personal highlights are the mash of tracks 11 and 12 and the sheer coolness of track 13 on CD1, and the aural mindf*&k from song 10 to the end of CD2. I can't see this one leaving my iPod for years, nice one Paul!!!
