referencing At The Concertgebouw (LP, Mono) MG V-8268
This was my go-to OP Trio record for all these years. Now that my collection is growing, this one's not even in my top 5, but still a great live performance featuring Herb Ellis burning it up and adding rhythmic chonks and bongo effect; they don't need no stinkin' drummer.
There are no bad Peterson records, just varying degrees of awesome.
Some nice standards in a great set list.
MONO recording sounds decent enough, but lacks any real depth of a STEREO soundstage. Pressing exhibits distortion on two songs. referencing At The Concertgebouw (LP, Mono) MG V-8268
Oscar at his best. No drummer and swinging for the fence in a live show putting it all out to impress.referencing At The Concertgebouw (LP, Mono) MG V-8268
