I took a while to decide whether to buy this album on Vinyl. Not because of the music, which I absolutely love, but because of the dreaded lip/warp! I took the plunge and ordered from Amazon, apparently they have a good return policy.

I got the orange colour and the first lp was indeed warped. LP2 was flat though. It’s not the worst warp I have seen. However, my Rega RP3 always seems to handle warps well without skipping. This was no exception. The warp made a bit of noise during "Ode to Isis", but didn’t bother me too much. I just wanted my favourite track “Will You Smile Again For Me” to sound unaffected. It did, in fact it sounded amazing, just like the rest of this album. Almost no surface noise and pops. I would definitely recommend getting this if you’re a fan and think your turntable could handle the warp at the beginning of this album.

The needle skipped on tracks A1 and B1 due to a warp on LP1. I was able to completely fix it with my Vinyl Flat device. Record came out perfectly flat.

Mine is warped yes; but thankfully its not enough to cause noticeable negative effects on the sound or worse make the needle jump; I guess thats the best you can hope for this edition; Can't win em all I guess...happy to own this effin brilliant record!!

Mine has a pretty substantial warp/hop right on the lip of disc 1 which makes the first track bounce and almost skip. Gotta say the surface noise on this is on par with the previous 2023 RSD rerelease of century of self-which is to say it’s noticeable. Sound quality notwithstanding, Conrad’s art in the booklet and gatefold is worth the purchase

JUST SKIP THIS PRESSING. SERIOUSLY. Ok so copy #3 now after they supposedly "secured" more copies. Well guess what, it must be from the same batch as the others b/c #3 still skips/jumps & has the same exact massive warp. What a terrible, terrible repress. 2 of the orange ones I've gotten have had the same big warp (1 being a replacement, I'm awaiting replacement #2), 3 of these clear ones also (2 of them being "replacements" at that)

Why pay for the warps, skips, and overpricing for this version? The prices will come down on this, until people start selling replacements without warps.
If you have it, you can request a new copy, and try selling the warped copy, essentially getting a free record in the replacement.

Clean pressing, love the color. Great packaging as well. Glad to finally have a vinyl copy of this album.

Well, this pressing doesn't have the warp like the band's webstore one did. So that's good. Sounds just as good IMO also.

Edit2: replacement for the previous copy w/a warp issue came w/the same warp issue. So uh, what's the deal here? Where's the QC at? Seems like more & more pressings of vinyl are coming defective from the jump, either warping or skipping or scuffs causing clicks/pops....it's getting ridiculous & becoming problematic.
Edit3: I heard rumblings that the booklet included is what caused all the warp issues.
