I pressed "play" on the youtube-video for "Dimension (Salt Tank's Voice Of Reason Mix)", and travelled instantly in time:
It must've been the winter of 2002. I was 14 years old and joined a bunch of other teenagers to the mountains of the Swedish north for a week of skiing. I had copied a whole bunch of CD's to my new Minidisc-player. It was early morning and the bus was taking us to the piste. I was probably in love. I was growing. New school, new friends, new opportunity to carve an identity. Music was obviously part of that. So I pressed "play" on the minidisc-player, listened to these majestic pads and saw the mountainous winter landscapes passing by.
Almost 20 years have passed, and I hear this track for the first time since then. I suspect my references to this specific track is quite strange: winter and excited innocence, rather than Ibiza nights and hedonism. Doesn't matter - it's a bad ass track still, and highly emotive.

Dimension (Salt Tank's Voice Of Reason Mix) - one of the best trance tracks of 1999, can't believe there are no comments on this one. It was Hooooj! Still love it now
Origin's 3 Dimensional Dub on Disc Two is also fantastic
