Greg Lake – Greg Lake

At first listen this sounds exactly like the iterations of Jefferson Airplane from the early 80s (Jefferson Starship and then Starship) kind of schlock gonzo stadium Rawk; and exactly like them it is done to perfection in that genre. Greg Lake was such an emotion-driven vocalist in King Crimson then in ELP; and he shows here that there is no limits to his versatility ... he can do this too. And yes since it is schlock gonzo stadium Rawk there is an obligatory ballad or two .... It is not likely to be to everyone's taste .... personally i love it

Worth owning just for the Lukather/Porcaro outro to It Hurts. Phenomenal.

I purchased a sealed copy that is dated 1982. The cheaply printed and glued on jacket back is black and white and in Spanish. The inner sleeve is rounded poly with a white RCA logo. (See additional photos)

Sounds pretty good but still has some small pops after a thorough cleaning.

There's a thing about the track "Love You Too Much", which nobody has noticed before. According to the track times, US vinyl releases seem to have an edited version running only 3:55 as opposed to all other albums/compilations which list it with a full 5:28 minutes. I own the Greg Lake Records ediition (from year 2000) of the album and the 2015 Cherry Red/Manticore twofer, both having the full length version. Is there any CD edition with the edited track?
