My copy looks pristine but has a significant amount of distortion.

I agree that this pressing does sound good and is definitely worth picking up.

This album belongs to the traditionally underrated gems in jazz. It was created in the period when modern elements and electric instruments began to be asserted in jazz. Despite this, Kirk recorded a timeless work with his bandmates, in which the high quality of composition and musicianship is asserted. Kirk speaks to the listeners with a sensitive and emotional approach, which is well listened to not only by his fans, but also by those who are just getting to know him. The result is also the excellent sound of the instruments and their rendering and fidelity. The traditionally average Scorpio reissues are quite good in this case with good dynamics, clarity and an almost analogue warmth. The only limiting factor is, as always, the low quality of the pressing in Rainbo. Fortunately, my copy is fine except for a few distortions. Must have album.

It's a straight blowing sesh for Kirk. As close as he got anyway. The title track still sits between the cracks of all musicdom. This edition is great, points for using the famous "Rahsaan in a top hat in the middle of 5th Ave." shot that also pops up on "5000 lb man".

This is a fine sounding pressing. Nice and quiet, dynamic.
