The version of Dakota Swirl that is on this release is an Into version different than the main or original release. It's a couple minutes shorter than the original mix but is still very good. Additionally this vinyl release does not go off time "BPM" like the original pressing of Swirl does. It begins with just a synth pad, then the lead melody starts and bass accents kick in shortly after to the point where the intro ends and the track begins in full. If you want to hear it I've used the track in one of my mixes and the intro portion is still pretty audible. https://hearthis.at/luminol/dj-luminol-classic-trance-26/ Tracklist with time stamps available.

Does anyone know if the Montreal Men Vocal Dub remix of Moody (Track 3 - Disc 1) was ever released on vinyl? I've not had any luck in finding it.

I don't quite understand why no one highlights ABA Structure's track. When I was a teenager (13 years old in 2000,the first time when I heard it), Aba Structure-Illusion made me completely enchanted. Very spacey, atmospheric sounding has a vocal in it that I still don't know what it is. I like a very few music with human voices, I think its not for that electronic music, but this music is phenomenal.
For me, its a very unique music, and hard to find others like this. It is not easy to put music before and after it that fits the mood well. Maybe it can be a good connection to the world of early psy trance, which have a sufficiently gloomy, dark but clear, elaborated fine sound. But this is only my opinion.

Never heard the full mix CD. Only ever had this 3 X LP of selected tracks… some real nice things such as Heller and Farley and Slacker, real dirty driving bassy numbers - and some pretty nice spacey ethereal stuff, but also others was less enamoured by… wondering what others feel about this unmixed selection? … deeper and darker for sure

Shame there wasn’t a copy of Evolution’s Solina. Did that even get a release?

John Digweed manages the bring the deep, dark, pulsating energy of Twilo to this CD mix. CD1 is truly outstanding; a Masterpiece! My favourite mix of John’s.

Good lawd. Listening to this in 2021 from my original discs I bought in 1999 while I was in college solidifies why Diggers is my #1 and the best DJ ever.

I bought this album on a whim in 1999 when I spotted it in the record shop and it was my introduction to Digweed and Prog House. It was and still is a classic mix. Its a masterclass of the linear, control and build style of DJing that allows the quality tracks to shine without being interfered with. It still gets a listen in my house at least once a year. Love it.

Cd 1, for the first hour, is his 1999 essential mix. After the ABA Structure track it goes off in another direction, but up to that point it is identical.

This whole album is just great imo. CD1 is what you'd expect with good progressive house that builds as it goes and it's mixed perfectly. Now back in the day, I didn't care for CD1 as much as CD2 because I was more into progressive trance than house but now I like it as much if not a bit more than CD2.

CD2 is quintessential progressive trance from that time, if someone wanted to know what progressive trance from the late 90's and early 2000's sounded like this would be the CD to give them. It all builds toward the Bedrock trance smash Heaven Sent at the end and it flows perfect. One of the best prog mix comps from that time for sure and if you don't have it get it.
