Reviews
- The mastering and the audio quality of my copy is from another planet!
Also Great artwork.
Probably the best Vinyl I own... - While i dont have the same ears nor systems as the other two reviewers here, put simply..... THIS IS AWESOME.
Mine is perfectly flat, perfectly centred and just plain perfectly pressed ala 99% of MOV releases.
Is it AAA or Digital, we will likely never know bar that MOV use the best source they can get and never use a CD rip but i dont really care because by the time the first tracks done its thing im away.
If i have to use a critical ear then id say i very much do like the sound on this, its got a mix of some warmth but quite clean ala digital but dont think that means there isnt great depth and decent dynamics, at least that how it is to me on my kit.
Finally the heavy gatefold is a cut above MOV usual middling quality and deserves much praise too!
Another strong recommendation for an MOV release, almost a given - Edited 2 years agojazzmanjake my exemplar has also excellent pressing quality.
but in my opinion sound is rather on the warm side.
certainly warmth is not missing on my system.
it just prove how the perception can depend on audio system setup and our personal preferences.
All in all very recommended, pleasantly sounding blues record. - Edited 5 years agoThe quality of the pressing is top notch, much like the sleeve. I do feel the sound lacks some warmth. Maybe due to the (likely) digital source.
