- A lesser known follow up to Right Place, Wrong Time, with the same cast of characters: The Meters and Allen Toussaint (who also produces) back up Mac Rebennack on a tasty selection of swampy bayou funk tunes. It might be a hair behind its' better-known predecessor, but just a hair. If you are a fan of Dr. John and The Meters (and if you're not, I think you may be depressed), then you will definitely enjoy this disk. In fact, the only shortcoming is the slightly corny lyrics on a couple of tunes, but you'll be shaking your ass so much you'll hardly notice. For audiophiles, this was cut by the great George Piros. Big soundstage, and The Night Tripper sounds like he's right in the room with you. You can't lose with this one, especially since it can be had for very reasonable prices. I paid ten bucks for a VG+ that plays very nicely.

The bass sound (by George Porter Jr. of The Meters) on this Canadian pressing is unreal. It plucks your ribs. referencing Desitively Bonnaroo (LP, Album, Stereo) 50.035
A great successor of the world wide acknowledge "In the Right place", this album is maybe more funky that it's predecessor despite having the same line-up with the Funk masters The Meters. The Horn section and the backing band is just right to the point and the songs are all great. My favorites are "Rite away" and "Can't git enough"referencing Desitively Bonnaroo (LP, Album) SD 7043
Hey man, Desitively order is here. I didn't get your mail
Cheers,
