Wings (2) – Wings Greatest

This is worth picking up. Half the songs originally weren’t on any other Wings album.

Silly Love Songs is the very first song I remember as a child, so this collection of songs has a special place in my heart. Glad to own this on vinyl. My pressing sounds great!

Agree with last review, volume definitely lower, sounds great nothing to different for a Denon amp, bought as a replacement for a previous copy I had once upon a time. Although it sounds great, fantastic presentation I was disappointed with the actual vinyl looked like someone had a bad day on packing, fingers prints and lots of scuff marks, shouldn’t have passed QC

Sounds like a record that was mixed by the bass player, for sure. 😂 volume definitely lower than a lot of current releases, but nothing a little extra dB from the amp can’t solve. Overall, a nice collection of songs.

A great greatest hits album. I normally stay away from GH compilations. But this has some great non-album tracks you must have. Junior’s Farm has always been a favourite.
Sounds good, although my copy has light crackles, but I’m pretty sure that is just this particular copy I have. Lucky me!

This has to be the oldest sounding CD I’ve ever heard, very muffled, but I still very much appreciate it, great songs from Paul as always.

Seems to be a lot of QC issues with this release, which is a shame, as it’s a fantastic remaster. Side A track 1 skips, due to rapid minor warps on the outer edge. There is also a high-pitched squeal between songs as the needle moves between tracks. As others have mentioned, the volume is lower than normal, but the pressing has a low noise-floor, so just crank it up - there is no detriment to the playback of the record. If you find a clean copy, it’s a keeper, and all you’ll ever need. Artwork is solid and inner sleeve is heavy-duty.

This Exact pressing is Full On Audiophile Sound if it ever existed! I have some Super grail audiophile records in my collection and this ‘78 pressing is absolutely Astonishing and competes with All of those. Especially for a comp. OG comps are awesome

Was able to find this at a garage sale in great condition with the poster. Excellent sounding vinyl with no surface noise.
