referencing The Flow (CD, Mixed) CORMIX 002
i guess there occured a mistake in writing down the playlist on maker´s side. the remix of recloose´s "can´t take it" doesn´t seem to be the carl craig version, at least it doesn´t sound like this http://www.discogs.com/Recloose-Cant-Take-It/master/20417
the track on the compilation is the one on this record http://www.discogs.com/Recloose-ft-Dwele-Cant-Take-It-Remixes/release/2773944 , called "milton jackson remix".
just for the correctness ...referencing The Flow (CD, Mixed) CORMIX 002
Steve Bug follows in the lineage of German minimalists Mike Ink and Thomas Brinkmann, but where this artist differs from his seniors is an inherent sense of funk. Bug's music; while considering the minimalist clicks of the past, makes clear his dedication to the more soulful workings of house music. This is stated on the very first selection on his mix CD, the infinitely funky vocal strut of Recloose's "I Can't Take It." From there, Bug culls tracks from his own Poker Flat label, as well as diverse findings from Swag, Stickmen, and Paper Recordings. Somehow, each one of the 14 tracks here manages to incorporate techno, electro, and house while remaining clean and minimal. Equally fascinating is the fact that the artists featured hail from lands as diverse as New York, Scandinavia, Detroit, and Germany, yet Bugs mixes them in a way that makes you believe each record was custom built to go with the one before. Those looking for a full-speed ahead techno mix ought to look elsewhere. Same for those who like their house extra spicy. The Flow actually moves with clinical precision.
