The B-52's – Wild Planet

Very audible ‘thump’ on mine at the end of the intro to Party Out of Bounds…thought I’d not shut the turntable lid properly…poor.

Found a reasonably priced used copy and wasn't expecting much, but this pressing sounds loud, fun and alive. Fantastic album and top notch cut.

For all you Wild Planet die-hards, one of the most overlooked/ unknown B-52's tracks is this unique early instrumental take on "Running Around ..it cam be found on - Rock Lobster (7", 45 RPM, Single, 'A' issue) WIP 6506

I have, seemingly, this release. However, the song sequencing on the B-side is different than listed on sleeve and label. B-side starts with Quiche Lorraine and ends with Devil In My Car. The only other comment I can find with this sequence is on a promo version of this album. This, however, is a commercial copy with all the same characteristics as this version listed here.

Hi all! I have a very strange copy of this which is a misprint where the A side is all music by the Doobie Brothers. The B side is totally fine. What the hell?? Does anyone else have this issue/is there a listing for it haha?

My copy is as perfect as new vinyl can get. Zero complaints here although it does sound like a digital source - but it’s cut by Chris Bellman, so that right there says everything. :-)

Awful. Bought it brand new at a local record store & sounded great when it wasn't skipping, which was on every track but Quiche Lorraine & Strobelight. Don't know how common this issue is but it was unlistenable
