amazing elektro-pop with great sounds
the my best Kittin album - Edited 10 years agoMiss Kittin is back and promoting vinyl! Call me crazy but I still like this electroclash kind of music very much and I know I am not the only one. (Check for instance the complete new Elektro Gooiland label).
This album is more than complete so you skip a few songs, but to be honest I skip only the ugly remixes on side D. So Miss Kittin is good in what she does! Side A stands out with the power song Bassline, a new wave song on a new beat tempo. Best song on the album. What to Wear reminds of earlier work with The Hacker or Felix da Housecat, and that's always good. Flash Forward reminds of the quality songs on the BatBox album. Part II of the album is more for listening and less dancing. And the ambient style actually fits very well with the cool vocals of miss kittin. Some songs, for instance the Motown song, really rocks without beats. Thank you Miss Kittin and welcome back!
