Essential vinyl for Associates fans. The extended Part Fears Two never sounded better, thanks to 12" and 45 RPM format. And It's Better This Way is far superior to the other versions.

I recall, back in the day, reading an interview with Billy in one of the popular music mags (probably NME). He stated that the inspiration for the song were two girls that were referred to around town as 'the party fears two'. Seemingly, these two girls would turn up at parties, drunk and continuing to drink and causing no end of trouble. This is an amazing "dubby" version of "It's better this way". That was a groovy, groovy speed, indeed, Billy, and in fact, this might even be better this way!
