- Edited 12 years agoNow I can say it with no doubt - Celer is my music discovery of the year 2009. What a sad irony that I got to know about this duo by reading an information concerning sudden loss of its female half Dani Baquet-Long on some music forum. Well...people are passing by, but their work can last forever (at least in minds of some of us). Especially such beautiful work created by Celer.
Almost all the music on the album is formed by orchestral oriented themes. The exeption here is track number 5 - a little tribute to Berlin school of electronic music. Each piece has its own unique mood. From uplifting and very deep strings in La Oroya's Cantankerous Bells through moving Carpel Tunnels Of Love to dark and disturbing Slack Tree Diagrams. I think it's even more than music...it's like sound aesthetic experience. All the tracks are truly beautiful but my personal favorite here is number 6. I could listen to this slow evolving loop forever...
