1 of those rare tracks of the time which crossed over, when the subgenres were very much seperated. A lot of jump-up DJs played this. Pretty sure I read somewhere that Noisia based it on the sound Hazard had at the time so it's easy to see why, pretty similar to stuff like Killers don't die- Edited 14 years ago

I love music that doesn't take itself seriously, which is why I love spugedelic so much, and Diplodocus is one of those rare darkstep/neurofunk tracks that doesn't try to be gloomy and/or serious and/or agressive but is instead wantonly silly and childishly playful, just like spugedelic is, and that's why I love it. It promptly became one of my all time favorite DnB songs.
But seriously now. This is a good neurofunk/darkstep release in the vein of ed rush & optical, the first track is worth it for anyone who really likes and/or is a dj in this subgenre, and diplodocus is also a very worthy addition. An above average release. Not the kind of release I would advise to anyone who just wants one example of this kind of DnB in his/her collection, that example would still be wormhole if they'd ask me...
