- All about the Transa Remix for me, the original (XXL) is a bit too commercial pop of it's day (though I'll admit it's merely a guilty pleasure of mine)
- Edited 17 years agoIt's not often I post a comment on a release (in fact, this is my first one!) but I thought that this one deserved a few words. This is mainly due to the complete contrast contained within this CD; on the one hand you have the utter drivel that is the original of this song, with it's cheesy (and lewdly innuendo'ed) lyrics and loathesome melody. On the other, you have the storming progressive trancer that is the Transa remix, which is the only reason I obtained a copy of this release in the first place (honest!) Quite how the Webster brothers managed to pull off such a great rework of this track is beyond me, and is a testiment to their brilliant production skills.
The other two remixes (Dillon & Dickins and Pulsedriver), whilst perhaps reasonable efforts given the base material they were working with, annoyingly retain the computer-generated vocals that make the original version so sickening to listen to.
In summary, worth it, if only for the cracking Transa remix.
