An incendiary performance that has really decent sound for a live rock recording.

IN THE HOTHOUSE deserves its huge reputation, it's a live album played with rage, despair, hope, guts, heart and soul!
The live versions of the classics "Silent air" and "Total recall" are just UNBELIEVABLE, also "Winning" is a fantastic opening song.
And also, great versions of "Under you", "Missiles", "Judgement", etc!
This band should have achieved the mainstream success of U2, The Cure and Simple Minds. Adrian Borland was a genius songwriter.

You can't find a more honest live lp/cd than this.
Under You, Heartland, Hothouse, Red Paint, etc... even Prove Me Wrong are just fabulous.
Fantastic and very moving version of Silent Air (for an even better version - the best version - see The Dutch Radio Recordings, CD5, De Vrije Vloer).
