Statement: There is a certain subset of musicians who for reasons unknown adhere to the false premise that "electronic" music or the tools involved imply a lack of creativity or inspired performance. Technology in the hands of creative, intelligent individuals is a tool for art, not a hindrance. Filter, being members of the current millennia, admit freely to the use of such devices.

I havent heard this in a long time, but I always liked this. Not a favorite, but it stands out in my memory where many an alt-rock CD fades into a fog. The industrial and metal elements made it stand out, while it remained largely rock sounding. The opening track is very memorable. About a PA congressman killing himself. The song itself builds tension well until it blows up during its chorus. The lyrics drip with surly sarcasm. The last track was memorable too, in a jaded quiet way.
