Reviews
- Edited 4 years agoOne of the most beautiful records I heard as a child. Completely unique in feel, even now. Both ahead of its time and a perfect love letter to 2005, It sounds definitively naughties – a beautiful journey, nostalgic and futuristic.
Stylistically, many late 90s-early 00s 'intelligent' or progressive dance styles are represented, with echoes of IDM/trance/jungle/downtempo, though the main ingredient is this unique brand of epic indie shoegaze-electronica. Very cinematic.
DJs should check out '451' & 'Out Of Range' :) 'Escape Pod' could work too at a more avant-garde house event.
