    A contemplative masterpiece.
Two sides based on the same harmonics drone and ghostly voices in the background creating an hypnotic listening. A girl says a few words, repeated again and again... "Who is the sufferer ? What is a suffering ? Who is the enjoyer ? What is enjoying ?" as far as my not english mother tongue allow me to understand...
It doesn't matter the effect of this voice is bringing peace and worry at the same time. Fascination and disorientation.
If you want comparisons, the texture and feeling reminds me a bit of the last song on "Earth covers Earth" LP : "Hourglass For Abelisk".
But there is also the fascinatinge effect of repeated words you would experience in Robert Ashley's "She was a Visitor" or Luc Ferrari's "Unheimlich Schön" and i'm pretty sure it's not a coincidence... Stapleton and Tibet are scholars about experimental music.
I'm totaly in love with this amazing record !
And also by the metamorphic abilities of Current 93, releases after releases.
Picture discs always have a bit of surface noise, but in my opinion it adds a distance, a texture which fits perfectly with the music and i must say Tibet artworks on a circle like this is just beautiful.
