From the inside sleeve: "This recording of "Cats" contains most of the music of the London production of the musical which opened at the New London Theatre on May 11, 1981. There are some small alterations and cuts for recording purposes principally in the longer dance sections and narrative poem "The Pekes and The Pollicles."
