Reviews
- Fantastic quadruple A-side single by ayu. If you like the Keith Litman and Razor N Guido mixes on here, make sure to also check out the Soul Solution and Thunderpuss mixes of respectively "too late" and "Trauma".
Note that the original versions of "monochrome" and "too late" are slightly different compared to the album versions. - 22 years after its initial release, I never get bored of Too Late (Razor 'N Guido Remix), it's so unique that other remixes sound "normal", definitely the highlight of this single for me. Other remixes are OK, especially Trauma (Heavy Shuffle Mix) and End Roll (HAL's Mix).
- Edited 14 years agoThis is one of my favorite Ayumi Hamasaki singles next to the “evolution” single. It’s incredibly solid with the original versions and Electronic remixes. The song that stands out the most to me though is “too late”. Right from the start it’s a great Ayu track. It has a great eerie feel that makes the whole track sound mysterious even if the vocals are not. “End roll (HAL’s MIX)” is the best remix on the whole single. HAL does a great job in making this a nice Electronic remix that even regular Ayu fans will enjoy. All and all a great buy.
