Recommendations
Reviews
- Sounds more like a Replacements album than All Shook Down. Not a bad thing, there's a lot of great Westerberg tunes on it. It's probably my favorite solo album that he's done. This pressing is actually pretty damn good too.
- Favorite Westerberg solo album. The maturation of the songwriting is astounding, and his subject matter is just as raw and gut wrenching as any Westerberg fan could expect. However, the quality of the material here is the strongest he had done since 1987, and while Stereo is it's equal in the songwriting, the production and arrangements make Eventually the besterberg. Key tracks: Love Untold, Ain't Got Me, You've Had It With You, Once Around The Weekend, Angels Walk, Good Day.
