- I must agree with the review above. Although sampled guitar loops work for some bands, here that just doesn't sounds good or refreshing. Chord progression is also lousy and tracks don't sound harmonic at all. Shame.
4/4 tracks are pretty much boring and are a pale replica of older trashy-jumpy VAC tracks... Also didn't like the Freak rework, mix is just bad, levels are wrong, vocals suck..
I am a big fan of VAC work and it pains me to write a review like this. Bryan - if you're reading this - the change in stile is good and positive thing and I like where you were going with this album (sound is better also, crisp and crunchy with no overkill-sampling), but the when it comes to realization, eh...
