This is perhaps the loudest piece of vinyl I’ve ever held my hands on. At its softest, it sounds like you are suffocating in amp distortion. At its harshest, it sounds like 15 grindcore bands playing at once. Rarely do you have any time to breath.

On top of it all, Drumm’s sound is a great fit for Wiese’s traditional cut-and-paste editing. Through the chopping block of Wiese, Drumm’s already formidable guitar-and-electronic orgies become a hellish soundscape the likes of which can only be dreamed up by the most demented people.

My only complaint is that I wish there more quiet bits to add some variety, particularly with the B-side. The tracks on the B-side kind of feel TOO uniform for my taste. That being said, this is a REALLY good record. I highly recommend it for fans of either artist.
