This mind-blowing southern soul album (funky & cool) by Lou Johnson ( never released on cd ) is one of the reasons why my old thorens still have a place in my living room...not just because of the music: specially dark, visceral & haunting /a gem (arranged &produced by Allen Toussaint, Amen!) but also thanks to the amazing audio quality (amazing sound/warm/deep...).
I found my copy some years ago,probably a promo radio copy ( cut on the cover) and is in pristine condition ( shame on you, radio Dj!).
Serious chills/superb album, no doubt!
