(Note: there are two "skips" on track A5, at approximately 1:27 and 1:31, and track B4 cuts out abruptly—these are carried over from the recording, not flaws in the record!)
My copy unfortunately came in a little dirtied by little bits of wax and paper but after a gentle clean I didn’t notice any unwarranted wear or damage. I don’t have an earlier College of Knowledge/Mr Bongo press but I find it hard to imagine they could sound any better than this version. I absolutely love the separation in the mix, especially when the vibes come chiming in. Great copy of a great album.
