Reviews
- The performances are spirited and generally good. However, there are areas in which asking the performers to play on the beat may be a bridge too far. There are also some low notes that a vocalist has a hard time reaching and it sounds pretty shaky. On the media side, this apparently was recorded in the early days of stereo and there are a lot of vocalists moving from far left pan to far right and back again over and over. It's annoying and could have been prevented with better mic placement. The album cover is not very artistically laid out. On the plus side, song selections are good. Given the low selling prices I think this album is well worth the money and very enjoyable despite the various issues. 3 stars
