Formula 2 has got to be up there in the top 10 grime tracks of all time .. The original was dark, rolling and unique but this version pisses all over it. Starting with an 8-bar intro then drops into that warped bass with trademark claps and switches every 8-bars into a deep sub bass on every 1/8th note with minimal beats. Remember hearing this first on a Slimzee set from New Year's '02 and it's stuck with me ever since. The atmosphere said it all, this track was another revolutionary one from Youngstar. The b-side was huge as well, got dropped at Bonfire Bonanza by Karnage & Danny Weed with an instant 'relooaadd!' from Wiley on the mic. From a very special era where the anticipation for these great new tunes and VIP mixes was a big deal, not just 10 a penny like they are nowadays
