Reviews
- Edited 3 years agoi second all the comments about the artwork quality which is abysmal to be kind: seems it comes from an upscaled scan of the original cd release made with a low quality scanner.
that said, a decent insert with credits is included.
sond wise, this is a very, very good reissue instead (i suggest to give it a listen with a good pair of headphones). - Hadn't listened to the album since the 1990s and was feeling nostalgic so I picked up this pressing. Very pleasantly surprised with not only how good the vinyl sounds but also how well this album has held up. A lot of the grunge stuff sounds very dated three decades later but this album feels timeless, like the Stooges or something. Great record.
- The art work is very low quality. Looks like a blow up JPEG. Typical for the MOV label and a shame for such a great band. But this time the sound quality of the record is surprisingly good. It is always a gamble with MOV records. Some records they released sound like MP3's thrown on vinyl. As a Dutchman I sometimes feel embarrassed for the shitty quality of this Dutch record company. But once again, the record of this screaming trees album sound good.
- An absolute gem of an album. The 180g repressing is what this album deserves. High quality pressing that really brings the music to life. Well done Music On Vinyl.
