Now and then sounds amazing, but love me do sounds really bad on my copy, lots of surface noise

It looks and sounds great, but it skips constantly, especially on Love Me Do.

Who would have thought that once in my life I could be buying a new Beatles single on 7" vinyl (I am born in 1992). The story is beautiful and i admit that in this way it is a true Beatles record. Oh yeah the sound: it does not sound extremely good or anything, soundstage is a but norrow, but more than good enough! Way better than the streams.

What I love about this single is that it fits perfectly into the Beatles Singles box set and it closes it out nicely. Well done.

No hi end record, for sure, but it plays fine on my turntable. Was expecting the worst after reading some reviews of the sonics, not nearly as bad as I feared. And not warped either.

This is the weakest of all of the vinyl releases IMO. Mine was slightly warped, but it didn't prohibit the sound quality. That being said, the sound quality was not up to snuff. I felt that John's vocals were very clear, but the instruments felt muddled and lost. It's almost a reverse of the blue/marble copy (Muddled vocals, crystal clear instruments). The vinyl itself though looks incredible. It's not translucent clear, it really is crystal clear.

The vinyl is really a gorgeous little thing that's for sure. Yeah, so sound quality isn't the best, but hey it sounds really as it should. It's a good finisher for the Beatles and really the main downside is this wasn't available to create in the 90s :(

My first copy came without the insert which was annoying. Got a replacement which was fine, but it really makes me wonder about quality control (or lack thereof?) when packaging new releases now.

Does anyone else think the Love Me Do mix sounds terrible on this release? The harmonica dips out of the mix far too much of this version. The 2009 remaster sounds much better.
