- Great pressing, flat and clean. Great sound, full bass, natural mids and highs. Original artwork. Highly recommended reissue.

IMHO this record is Shaun Ryder's masterpiece.
Rockfield, Boundary Row, etc. would have had Pro Tools as well as tape. Originally mastered at Sterling. I don't know how they tracked it or whether the final production master was DAT? My guess is it probably was.
MOV have produced a flat, centered, reasonably quiet LP.
I think this reissue sounds fairly good - but isn't particularly dynamic or layered/textured in soundstage. In that sense, I think it is of its time. Fun, rollicking, and inexpensive reissue!- Just got this and look forward to comparing with the very decent 2016 issue. On first impression the MOV pressing is flatter and cleaner and i expect their usual super quiet playback but will it sound as good????
