Reviews
- Edited 12 years agoThe trio pieces from June, 1950 are more straight, they bring us less classical elements, and Tjader’s shifts in instruments are refreshing, as always. He is very strong especially on vibes, and the vibes will be his major instrument during the 1950s and later.
Quatations:
‘Undecided‘ is a demonstration of a highly accesible, musically smart showmanship. Cal Thader‘s switching from drums to vibraphone (to bongos) gave the Trio unexpected additional colours. (Joop Visser)
