- Edited 5 years agoHere I am, 27 yrs later after I purchased the record and still cannot make up my mind what to think of this record or why I bought it.
It is not really UK Garage, Breakbeat or Techno but something like all of it especially "To be with you" , tech beat followed by breakbeat with piano riffs and a voice singing "it would be all so nice to be with you", thats all I can say. Never have played this record on a party. "Psychological Addiction" has more the breakbeat feeling with piano and singing voices that seem to be off tone and all of a sudden - break - and we are in the midst of a UK hardcore track with kinda mentasm sound and a male voice saying "ecstasy" to just go back to cheesy piano after a while.
"# steps to insanity" is rather technoid with 808 drum patterns, modulated mentasm sound and I still believe in God-sample. "Death" gets even darker with stompy techbeat and breakbeats intertwined.....
Even after this review, I am still puzzled!
