Is there a reason this has never been released on vinyl while Burn My Eyes and The Burning Red were both released on vinyl in the 90's AND have been repressed several times?

I can't believe that this album still hasn't any release on vinyl while The Burning Red album has 3 vinyl releases on vinyl by now.

After listening to this album several times the last couple of days I must say that it is my second favourite album after "Burn My Eyes". It has a lot of elements from the first album but still manages to hold its own. A very solid album from Machine Head!!

          Score: 10/10

          Top 3 songs:

          1. Violate
          2. Down To None
          3. Spine

And to finish my review I have to make an extra comment on the track "Violate" which has to be one my favourite Machine Head songs. It starts out really slow, almost Slugde/Doom metal slow! Reminded me a lot of "Crowbar". And then towards the end it takes a turn and speeds the whole thing up! You definitely feel Machine Head's Hardcore influences in the last part. Very underrated track in my opinion!

The official CD release does not use any HDCD features (most importantly: Peak Extend) despite being flagged if you're playing this on a HDCD-capable player or software (e.g., foobar2000 and Windows Media Player).

No vinyl release at all? Such a shame. Really deserves it.

They need to issue this album on vinyl. I can't believe they reissued The Burning Red on vinyl in 2010 and not this album.
