Reviews
- Do you remember, if you are old enough, the days when you had to send Trojan Records (or any other company) a postcard which took weeks to be delivered to receive a little paper with records currently available (which took weeks to be delivered...), you made your choice, sent it back (which took weeks to be delivered...), you paid with some hard to explain international money transaction by your local bank, and finally, a decade later, you would receive your Prince Far I, Prince Jammy or your Sugar Minott record. Well, this one had been worth the wait and hassle, sweeter than sweet and same time tough and ghetto wise. Not too often mentioned as one of the greatest Roots albums, so I will do it here for a reason. Once you have tuned in to tunes like "Dreader than Dread" or "I Never gonna give Jah up" you will be a converted follower of Sugar and his Black Roots sound. A beautiful piece of music. 😌
Forgot to mention it's BilBo again responsible for the cutting of the lacquer. I love his cuts deeply, check my lists for some other great ones he cut. Cannot understand the avarage rating here, it's a 6.0 at least...
