Reviews
- Expect the expected: jeep beats, vertiginous slabs of coruscating noise, questionable titles (viz ‘Hibakusha For Anal Sex No. 6’) and flagrant, ironic sample mayhem. Top of the flagrancy list would have to be ‘Anal Music Machine (featuring Teenage Chuck D)’, on which VOG lifts and speeds up the entire last verse of Public Enemy’s ‘Hazy Shade of Criminal’. It’s a wonderfully juvenile concept that clocks in at a whopping 23 minutes although, bizarrely, Chuck himself doesn’t arrive ‘til about 20:36. Guess he must’ve slept in. Teenagers, huh?
