Edited 3 years agoThis mythical French OST from the 80’s French-Japanese animated series could probably not fit on a triple LP with its 39 episodes.
This is a selection of musical themes and songs made for a very young audience. In line with the optimistic spirit of the cartoon - more representative of the happy scenes. Apart from «La Tempête» and «Les Dieux Des Incas», most themes related to dark or scary scenes : imminent danger, cruelty, disasters, suffering, suffocating heat, etc., are missing. Many other themes, related to technology - and therefore the most interesting - are also unfortunately not on this record. Despite these shortcomings this is truly a great record.
Hoping original tapes are somewhere... waiting for someone to remaster killing grooves !
