- Boy is either sampling or sampling the same source as an old Derrick Carter record - https://www.discogs.com/release/58846-Constant-Nonsense-The-Big-Surrender.
- 4 deep groovers, perfect to get the party started. This ep was in my bag constantly and played at every gig for about 3 years. Take your pick, they all get the job done.
- Twas great to see our very own from my home town of Notts release stateside on the Siesta imprint, but did it live up to those classic Drop Music 12"s?? For sure, there's an extra West-coast sensibility, a la Hippe/Halo/Onionz & label Artists of the time, but the deepness & trademark Knights bassline's are all there. A definite Nottingham 'D.I.Y' sound is present, especially on 'Boy' & 'Clean Doubt', my pick of the bunch.
